I am travelling from abroad and therefore cannot use the NHS app


We want to ensure 110 Above Festival is as accessible as ever. We will therefore an exceptions process for those travelling from abroad, which will require reasonable evidence of vaccination (with 14 days passing since you final dose) or a lateral flow test 24 hours before the festival.




I am attending with my children, will they need to show their covid status?


As per government guidelines we request that you provide evidence of a negative lateral flow for children aged 11 years and over (can be via showing the NHS message after you register the test result).




What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19?


If you test positive for COVID-19 you will need to self-isolate, not attend or travel to 110 Above Festival 2021 and follow NHS guidance. We cannot offer a refund but you will be able to apply to rollover your ticket, a form will be updated here shortly. Any rollover is subject to reasonable evidence of an NHS administered PCR COVID-19 test.

All form entries will need to be submitted by 23:59 on the evening before your event ticket becomes valid.

If you have purchased ticket insurance, we advise you to contact Gigantic to see if you can claim a refund as per the terms of the scheme. Please do not contact our customer services team regarding this matter as tickets are sold via this third party.




I have been told to self-isolate, what should I do?


If you are contacted directly and asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace you must self-isolate immediately and follow NHS Guidance. (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing/test-results/positive-test-result/ ) This means you will not be able to attend 110 Above so please act responsibly, stay at home and protect your fellow festival goers and the wider community.




What if I, or someone coming to 110 Above with me is identified as a close contact before or whilst we are at the event?


If this happens prior to or while at the event then you will need to isolate for ten days. If you are at the event, you will be required to leave immediately and return to your home address in order to complete your period of self-isolation and continue to follow advice from Test and Trace.

Close contacts have to isolate for 10 days irrespective of their own test results, therefore should leave the event immediately and follow advice from test and trace.




What happens if someone who is double vaccinated tests positive for Covid-19 prior to the event?


If you are double vaccinated but test positive for COVID-19 you will need to self-isolate and not attend 110 Above 2021. There will be a rollover request process to follow that will be communicated closer to the event.




How do I gain entry to 110 Above?


The quickest and easiest way to gain access to 110 Above is to show your NHS COVID Pass along with your valid ticket for entry. If you don't have access to your NHS COVID Pass you can gain entry by showing confirmation of a negative NHS lateral flow device (LFD) test.




Do I take my test at home or on arrival?


Please take your LFD test at home as close to the festival as possible before travel and within 24 hours of setting off for 110 Above.




When do I need to take my Lateral Flow Tests?


Please take your test within 24 hours of your arrival to 110 Above and report it here. (https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result) Please remember it can take up to 2 hours to validate your NHS COVID Pass so it is worth logging your test the night before you are due to arrive. Please try to take your test as close to the festival as possible but prior to leaving your home. We strongly encourage attendees to re-test on Saturday 14th August. Those who are using other methods to show their covid status such as being double vaccinated or evidencing immunity will not need to take this step but, again, we would encourage (rather than mandate).




How many NHS Lateral Flow Tests tests do I need to take?


One within 24 hours of your arrival to 110 Above and we strongly encourage you to re-test on Saturday 14th.

If you are a day ticket holder you will need to take 1 lateral flow test within 24 hours of your arrival to 110 Above. If you have purchased multiple day tickets then you may need to test more than once.




The NHS Lateral Flow Test is only valid for 48 hours, will I need to re-test


Yes, we strongly encourage all camping ticket holders to re-test on Saturday 14th August. Please make sure you and your friends bring enough NHS LFD tests with you. You can order these for free here (https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests ) or pick them up for free from your local pharmacy.




Do my children have to take an NHS LFD test to attend?


Children aged 11 - 17 will be required to provide proof of a negative NHS LFD test in order to gain entry to the event.




How do I obtain an NHS LFD test?


There are three options for accessing NHS LFD tests:

1. Order to your home address here ( https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests)

2. Pick up from your local chemist - find your nearest pick up point here ( https://maps.test-and-trace.nhs.uk/ )

3. Go to your local community testing centre - find your nearest centre here ( https://www.gov.uk/find-covid-19-lateral-flow-test-site )

A reminder that NHS guidance states everyone should be testing twice weekly to protect your friends, family and wider community. We recommend ordering your tests as soon as possible.




I'm fully vaccinated, do I need to provide proof of a negative NHS LFD test?


No. If you have received both doses of the vaccine 14 days ahead of your first day at 110 Above you will not need to take an NHS LFD test. If you are aged 18 or over and are registered with a GP in England you can provide proof of your vaccination status through the NHS COVID Pass in the NHS App, or via a printed PDF document if you do not have a smartphone. Ticket holders from Scotland can access their vaccine status here, (https://www.nhsinform.scot/covid-19-vaccine/after-your-vaccine/get-a-record-of-your-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccination-status ) and ticket holders from Wales can access theirs here. ( https://gov.wales/get-nhs-covid-pass-show-your-vaccination-status-travel )

All other ticket holders, including those from Northern Ireland will be required to show a negative NHS LFD test taken within 24hrs of attending the event in order to gain entry via NHS text message or email.




I’m having issues with the NHS App and/or registering with the NHS website. What should I do?

What is the NHS App?


The NHS App can be downloaded to your smartphone and is the place where you will be able to generate and view your NHS COVID Pass.

It can take up to 24 hours to verify your NHS App account so please download and register a minimum of 24 hours before you leave to ensure you have no issues getting access to your NHS COVID Pass.




What if I don't have a smartphone and cannot use the NHS App or NHS Website?


If you do not own a smartphone or computer you can still log a negative NHS LFD test result by calling the phone number in your test kit’s instructions. After registering you will receive a text message confirming your negative test result from the NHS that you can provide upon entry to the festival. If you are fully vaccinated you can request an NHS COVID Pass Letter via the NHS Website. The letter may take up to 5 working days to reach you, so ensure you order in good time before attending 110 Above




What is the difference between the NHS Covid-19 App and the NHS App?


The NHS Covid-19 App (required for checking in to venues and test and trace) and NHS App (required to gain entry to 110 Above using the NHS COVID PASS) are two different apps.

The NHS Covid-19 App will not be required for 110 Above 2021.

The NHS App is required for hosting your NHS COVID Pass to enter the event.




How do I prove my negative NHS Lateral Flow Device Test?


After taking your NHS LFD test, you can report your result online here (https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result). After downloading the NHS App onto your smartphone or registering on the NHS website you will be able to use the NHS COVID Pass to show your negative lateral flow status. Please note your negative test result can take up to 2 hours to appear in the NHS App. PLEASE NOTE: All ticket holders over the age of 11 will need to provide evidence of a negative lateral flow test, for 11-16 year olds this status can be shown through evidence of an NHS text message or e-mail.

You will receive a confirmation email and/or text message confirming the result of your test.




Can I come to 110 Above if I'm not fully vaccinated?


Yes. If you have not received both doses of your vaccination at least 14 days prior to attending, you will need to show proof of a negative NHS LFD test to gain entry to 110 Above. Please take your test within 24 hours of your arrival to110 Above and report it here. ( https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result ) We strongly recommend you order your free lateral flow tests as soon as possible and ensure you bring enough tests with you to re-test on Saturday 14th Aug if you are camping onsite.




Will I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend the festival?


No. You can either show proof of a negative NHS LFD test taken within 24 hours of the day you are attending, or provide proof you have been fully vaccinated by the NHS in England (you should wait 2 weeks after your second dose).




I recently tested positive for COVID-19, how will I provide proof of a negative test result?


If you've previously tested positive for COVID-19 using a PCR test, taken within 180 days of the event and it's been at least 10 days since your positive results, you are eligible for an NHS COVID Pass. The pass will appear in your NHS App.




Can I get tested on site?


We cannot guarantee that there will be a testing facility onsite. Therefore we strongly recommend you to do your NHS LFD test at home before you arrive and bring enough with you to re-test as required. What precautions will the festival be taking to minimise the risk?


As always, our priority is the safety of festival-goers, artists, staff and the wider community, and we have worked in full consultation with all relevant authorities to put the appropriate measures in place and follow all Government guidance.




Will I have to wear a face covering / practice social distancing during the event?


No. There will be no need for social distancing and you won’t have to wear a mask if you don’t want to, however we strongly encourage and welcome the wearing of masks especially in busy or enclosed settings. Please note that masks are still recommended on public transport and should be worn if travelling to and from the 110 Above site on trains, buses, coaches or taxis - this includes the 110 Above shuttle buses.




What should I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms when I’m at the festival?


If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, please put on a mask and report to the Medical Tent and make staff aware immediately. They will direct you towards a test and you will be asked to remain seated at a distance from others while our Medics carry out an assessment. If you are diagnosed as positive then you will be asked to leave the event if it is safe for you to do so. You may still be asked to leave the event if the Medics suspect you have Covid-19 and are presenting a false negative test. You will be advised to speak to any prolonged close contacts and ensure they self-isolate too.




I do not want to attend the event, will I get a refund?


110 Above 2021 is going ahead with all legal restrictions lifted and appropriate measures in place. As always, our priority is the safety of festival-goers, artists, staff and the wider community, and we have worked in full consultation with all relevant authorities to put the appropriate measures in place and follow all Government guidance. As the event is going ahead we will not be offering refunds.




I’m in a vulnerable group and no longer want to attend the event, will I get a refund?


110 Above 2021 is going ahead with all legal restrictions lifted and appropriate measures in place. As always, our priority is the safety of festival-goers, artists, staff and the wider community, and we have worked in full consultation with all relevant authorities to put the appropriate measures in place and follow all Government guidance. As the event is going ahead, we will not be offering refunds. If you have a specific query, please get in touch via COVID@110above.com for further information.




If I’m unable to come due to travel restrictions (including cancelled trains or coaches), will I get a refund?


As per our terms and conditions tickets are non-refundable and we cannot take responsibility for any travel delays / cancellations.




If I’m unable to come due to [any scenarios that trigger a refund event], will my travel / accommodation / other costs be refunded?


As per our terms and conditions we cannot take responsibility for any travel expenses or accommodation. Please check with those businesses you have purchased from to see if you are eligible for a refund.




If I’m unable to come due to [any scenarios that trigger a refund event], can the other ticket holders in my party also be refunded?


Each ticket holder is eligible for a refund if the festival is cancelled. If the 2021 event is unable to take place, all customers will be able to rollover to 2022 or recieve a face value refund.




If an artist pulls out or is unable to attend the festival, will I get a refund?


As per our terms and conditions tickets are non-refundable and the Line Up is subject to change.




If I don’t want to take a COVID-19 test to gain entry to the festival, can I get a refund?


Alternatively to taking a LFT, you have the option to provide proof you have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine, with your second dose at least two weeks prior to the event instead, or proof of immunity.




If I test positive can I rollover my ticket to 2022?


If you test positive for COVID-19 using an NHS Lateral Flow Device test or PCR test you will need to self-isolate immediately and follow NHS guidance. ( https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing/test-results/positive-test-result/ )

This means you will not be able to attend 110 Above so please act responsibly, stay at home to protect your fellow festival goers and the wider community.

If your ticket protection insurance does not cover you, or if you did not purchase it, you can register that you were unable to attend the festival due to testing positive for COVID-19 and enter a Ticket Rollover Process. A form will be shared here shortly.

Any ticket rollover is subject to reasonable evidence of your positive PCR test result.




If I'm told to isolate, can I rollover my ticket to 2022?


1. Check Your Insurance

If you are not able to attend the event, consider contacting your insurance providers (such as home or travel insurance). Many policies provide cover if you are unable to go ahead with plans due to a medical emergency. We understand that in most cases this will cover you for covid related issues, such as being required to self-isolate. If you have claimed on an insurance policy there is nothing further you need to do in terms of notifying the event.

2. Ticket Rollover Process

If you are unable to get a refund via your insurance we are offering a ticket rollover option if you were unable to attend the festival due to being notified to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace. A form will be shared here shortly.

Any ticket rollover is subject to reasonable evidence of your NHS test and trace notification to self-isolate.
